Last year, 86 million Americans were not counted in the labor force because they didn’t keep up a regular job search. Most of them were either under age 25 or over age 65. While it’s true that the unemployment rate is falling, that doesn’t include the millions of nonworking adults who aren’t even looking for a job anymore. And hiring isn’t strong enough to keep up with population growth. As a result, the labor force is now at its smallest size since the 1980s when compared to the broader working age population. http://www.blacklistednews.com/The_86_million_invisible_unemployed/19301/0/38/38/Y/M.html www.blacklistednews.com The Best in Uncensored News Information and Analysis at J’s Special Occasion Event Cen. Chief Justice Cobb was the first woman elected as Chief Justice in Alabama. She served from 2007-2011 and was the only Democrat on the Supreme Court during her term. Originally from Conecuh County, Chief Justice Cobb will speak to the DMC about the future of the Democratic Party in Alabama.
We want to continue moving forward with the enthusiasm from our previous meetings, and hope that everyone will join us again for breakfast at J’s Special Occasion on Saturday April 7th at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 and our speakers will begin at 9:00.
So far, we’ve gathered many people together who want to move Alabama forward. We hope that everyone who couldn’t make it to our first two meetings will be able to join us in April to hear Chief Justice Cobb. Please feel free to send this email to anyone who you think might be interested in joining us in our work to take back Alabama!
If you plan to attend breakfast on the 7th, please click here to RSVP or email us at DMCmail@democraticmensclub.com with the names of everyone attending so that we can plan for the event. If you or someone you know is interested in working with us, please check out our
website or our
facebook page and get to know a little more about us.
The DMC is a grassroots organization dedicated to the development and support of Democratic candidates who share our vision for a progressive Alabama. We want to extend this invitation to any like-minded democrats and independents who are interested in working with us to move Alabama forward.
Hope to see everyone on the 3rd!

Transparency and Encourage Corruption
Corruption is rife in the charter school industry:
A California charter school chain closed 60 charter schools after an audit revealed theft and misappropriation of public funds by its founder.
A Minnesota charter school closed after its owner was sentenced to federal prison for using school funds for personal vacations and expenses.
Turkish-run charter schools are under investigation in Ohio and Illinois for abusing an immigration loophole to bring teachers suspected of being part of a right-wing group into the country.
Charter schools lack standards. They ignore teacher certification and curriculum, are not subject to board oversight, and are not publicly accountable – all standards designed to keep our kids safe and make sure they are learning. Charter schools create an environment where fraud and corruption are encouraged. Democratic Mens Club
